Research Supervision
I welcome enquiries from potential MA and PhD students. Please email me if you are interested in postgraduate study, or have an idea or a proposal you'd like to discuss. The University of Brighton hosts a thriving postgraduate community with experienced and active researchers undertaking lots of good stuff in the social sciences and humanities.
I'm particularly interested in supervising in the following areas:
- Leisure theory and social change
- Space, place and culture
- Sport politics & policy
- Histories of mountaineering and outdoor adventure
- British sport history
- Coastal cultures and practices
I also welcome discussions on other potential topics.
