About Paul
Welcome! 

Paul Gilchrist is a Principal Lecturer in Human Geography at the School of Environment and Technology, University of Brighton, UK. He is Course Leader for the BA Geography degree programme and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Paul has researched, written and lectured primarily on the geographies of sport and leisure, for nearly two decades. Paul’s work has appeared in many academic journals and books. He is a founding convenor of the Political Studies Association's Sport and Politics Study Group and joint Series Editor of the Advances in Leisure Studies book series published by Taylor & Francis.
