Research supervision

I welcome enquiries from potential PhD students. Please email me if you are interested in postgraduate study, or have an idea or a proposal you'd like to discuss. The University of Brighton hosts a thriving postgraduate community with experienced and active researchers undertaking lots of good stuff in the social sciences and humanities.

I'm particularly interested in supervising in the following areas:

- Geographies of sport and leisure
- Countercultural and street sports
 - Green/blue/grey space and social infrastructure
- Heritage tourism and place-making
- Community gardening and the allotment movement
- Innovations in qualitative methodologies

I also welcome discussions on other potential topics.
